Refiners using MICBLEACH get consistent bleaching performance, faster filtration, and lower oil loss on every production run.

Most bleaching earth sold globally is sourced from multiple quarries, blended, and relabeled under a single brand which is why "the same product" performs differently from container to container. MICBAC India mines, activates, and packs every bag of MICBLEACH at one integrated facility in Kolkata. No intermediaries. No variable sourcing. One accountable manufacturer from raw clay to finished bag.

The most common costly mistake in this category is running one grade across every oil type. Tell us what's in your tanks and we'll confirm which grade fits each line.

Activated carbon is blended into MICBLEACH bleaching earth at 5%, 10%, or 20% — dosed to your feedstock's contaminant load, not sold as a one-size-fits-all product.

  • CARBO-BLEACH 5 — light carbon dose for colour and trace-contaminant polish, minimal filtration impact
  • CARBO-BLEACH 10 — the industry-standard ratio, default starting point for coconut and palm kernel oil
  • CARBO-BLEACH 20 — heavy-duty dose for smoke-dried copra, recovered oils, and dioxin/PCB-critical fish oil
  • Targets heavy PAHs and glycidyl esters (GE) that bleaching earth alone doesn't fully remove
  • Higher carbon % trades filtration speed for adsorption capacity — we help you dose to your actual load, not the highest tier by default

Standard bleaching earth removes colour. It was never built to strip heavy PAHs, glycidyl esters, or dioxins out of an oil stream — that needs activated carbon's finer pore structure. CARBO-BLEACH blends both into one earth, at the ratio your contamination load actually requires. Send us your feedstock and PAH/GE spec and we'll confirm whether 5%, 10%, or 20% is correct — the heaviest blend isn't the safest default, it's just the most expensive one.

One chemistry.
Six industries.

Wherever an oil, fat, wax, or process stream needs colour, trace metals, or oxidation products removed the same activated adsorption logic applies.

MICBLEACH™ — Industries Served
01

Edible Oil Refining

Physical and chemical refining for sunflower, soybean, corn, canola, rice bran, and palm. Each grade is calibrated to the specific colour load, chlorophyll content, and FFA profile of the feedstock — not a single average for every oil.

GOLD+ S · GOLD+ R
02

Biodiesel Production

Feedstock pretreatment before transesterification removes gums, phospholipids, and trace metals that shorten catalyst life and cut conversion efficiency. The bleaching stage here protects the chemistry downstream, not just the colour.

GOLD+ S · GOLD+ R
03

Soap & Oleochemical Manufacturing

Decolourising fats and fatty acid streams before saponification. Downstream soap colour and odour are set at this stage — there is no correcting them later in the process.

GOLD+ R · GOLD+ S
04

Mineral & Lube Oil Re-Refining

Used lubricating oil, motor oil, and transformer oil re-refining — stripping oxidation products and trace metals before the base oil is resold or reprocessed.

GOLD+ R
05

Paraffin & Petroleum Wax Refining

Candle, food-packaging, and pharma-grade wax — colour and odour specifications are often stricter than edible oil, and rejection is visual and immediate.

GOLD+ S
06

Glycerine Purification

Crude glycerine from oil refining or biodiesel needs colour removed before cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or food-grade markets become accessible. The bleaching step determines which market the batch qualifies for.

Stop Guessing & Get Your Free Sample.

No purchase order required to get a sample. No pressure call after. If the trial doesn't beat your current numbers, we'd rather hear that than oversell you.

Step 01: Tell us your oil type and current dosage

Oil type, colour spec target, and your current kg/ton dosage rate, we'll confirm the matching MICBLEACH grade and a recommended trial starting point.

Step 02: We ship a production-sized sample

Not a 1kg lab quantity. A real production run's worth of material, sized so your QC result reflects actual operating conditions, not bench testing.

Step 03: Run it side-by-side against your current grade

Compare four metrics: dosage rate, final colour, filtration time, and oil retention. All measured by your team, on your press, on your oil.

Step 04: Review the data together - either way

If the trial shows an advantage, we discuss supply terms. If it doesn't, we'd genuinely rather know that. Honest data over an oversold switch.

Calibrated activation isn't just smarter.
It's more responsible.

Acid activation consumes acid, generates effluent, and requires neutralisation at the production stage. Matching activation to the oil's actual requirement instead of maximising every grade by default reduces the chemical load per ton of finished earth. The same principle that protects your yield also reduces production-stage waste. These aren't targets. They're operating standards.

Zero Process Water Discharge

The manufacturing facility operates zero-discharge on process water, a committed standard, not an aspirational statement.

100% Fine Dust Recycling

All fine-particle production dust is captured and fully recycled within the process — zero waste to disposal.

VOC Emission Control

Volatile organic compound emissions managed and controlled in production — an integrated process discipline, not a post-treatment fix.

Sustainability Stat Grid

ZERO

Process water discharge from MICBAC India's manufacturing facility

100%

Fine dust captured and recycled within the production process

VOC Controlled

Emission management integrated into production, not retrofitted

5-Year Shelf Life

Reduces inventory disposal and premature product wastage at the refinery

GOLD+ S is thermally activated and runs at a pH of 4.2, against the 2.8–3.5 range typical of acid-washed grades. On soft oils like sunflower and soybean, that means lower neutral oil loss, no corrosion risk, and safer handling on your floor while still matching 98% of acid-washed bleaching efficiency, lab-verified against Tonsil 230FF and Gallion V2. For heavier feedstock, GOLD+ R is the acid-activated match.

No — the trial runs alongside your existing supply, not in place of it. You test on your own equipment without touching your current procurement or production plan. Most refiners get a clear comparison within one or two production runs on the trial sample.

Yes. A COA from a recent production batch is part of the pre-purchase evaluation, no order required. Every confirmed order then ships with a batch-specific COA matching that exact consignment — the actual tested values, not nominal spec sheet numbers.

Wet clay dilutes itself silently — your dosage formula assumes active clay that isn't fully there, and the bleaching result underperforms for no obvious reason. GOLD+ S holds moisture at under 5%, with a COA value of 0.5% as packed. Both GOLD grades are tested per batch, not per spec sheet.

Send us the oil types and current colour/FFA range per line, and we'll recommend grade allocation per line — not one compromise grade for everything. Running a single grade across every feedstock is the most common avoidable cost we see in this category.

GOLD+ S has a confirmed shelf life of 5 years, sealed, in dry conditions, away from moisture and sunlight — the longest in the bleaching earth category, and a meaningful reduction in inventory expiry risk.

ISO 9001, HACCP, Halal, and IAF/IAS accreditation, manufactured to IS 1035:1972 — the Indian Standard governing bleaching earth. Full certification documentation is available for your supplier qualification process.

Send your QC results and the batch code from the bag. Because every bag traces back to its production batch, we can identify whether the deviation started in production, transit, or your incoming test method — and resolve it on facts, rather than replacing the shipment and hoping the next one is different.

Yes — MICBAC India is MSME-registered and export-ready. Standard documentation includes COA, MSDS, Fumigation Certificate, Certificate of Origin, and Packing List, all prepared ahead of shipment, not assembled after loading begins.

Against global reference standards: Tonsil 230FF for soft-oil grades (GOLD+ S, ECO UNI) and Gallion V2 for heavy-feedstock grades (GOLD+ R). GOLD+ S reaches 98% against Tonsil 230FF; GOLD+ R reaches 98% against Gallion V2. Full methodology is documented in the Technical Data Sheet, available on request.
